La Catedral por dentro. Inside the Cathedral.
Around the main square. Alrededor de la plaza principal.
This was a really nice little trip, the weather was great and I might do it again but walk a little bit more, particularly in Tigre now that I know the nicest part is on the other side :). The Cathedral and main square surroundings in San Isidro seem inetresting to explore too.

San Isidro I
Moving along... Next stop was San Isidro where we had lunch (less crowded there). After lunch we walk around a bit. The San Isidro's cathedral is really beautiful without being overwhelming. I guess I am not a big fan of the "baroque" style present on other cathedrals (like the Buenos Aires one) .
This is just on the street next to the Cathedral. I really like the house you can see in the background.

A few pictures taken in the train and from the train on our way back from Delta to San Isidro.
The stations are really beautiful, although not so well kept.

The other touristy thing was El Puerto de Frutos (Fruit's Port). Basically it used to be the place where the fruits for the city arrived or something like that. Anyways now is just a big fair, maybe a cool one, but ïm kinda tired of that sort of things, so we just give it a quick look, took some pics and get out of there.

Tigre I
After the first stop we decided to keep going all the way to Delta. There we walked by the water and looked at the boats. We did not took a boat to the river and we decided not to croos to the other side of the channel, I guess I'll do that next time :)
My Dad and his first visit to Tigre. Papá "Yo estuve en el Tigre" foto :)
This boats are kinda typical from there. They have appeared in movies, etc. Las lachas típicas del Tigre.

Tren de la Costa: Estación Anchorena
So Easter is a big deal here, although at this point is mostly a really long weekend (equivalent to Thanksgivingin USA) to a lot of people. My Dad was visiting me for those days, we were not able to do much on Thursday and Friday because I was down with a cold, but on Sunday we took tye train and do some sightseeing. We took "El Tren de la Costa", it used to be this kinda fancy little train but now it's a little "unkept", still nice to ride on and the stations are nicer than the regular train. These pictures were taken at the Anchorena Station, you can see Buenos Aires skyline on the first one. There is also a nice park next to the river to walk or use your bike.
