- I'm too tall. A guy needs to be 1.95 m at least to be my type. Those are not so easy to find (I haven't even put in the equation that they have to be athletic and slim too).
- I'm too smart. The typical shoujo heroine is kinda dumb but has a great heart.
- I'm not cheerful enough. Yep.. WAY to sarcastic and cynical to attract a guy (if there were nice, tall and slim ones around)
- I failed to keep my high school sweetheart. Apparently you find the person you will die with at 16 (top).

Tandil (ultimas)
Ok, la última tanda de fotos de Tandil, la verdad es que para un día y medio logramos hacer bastante y descansar relativamente (el lunes me tuve que acostar a las 10 de la noche para recuperar).
Ok, this is the last post regarding my mini-trip to Tandil. We manage to do quite a lot considering it was just the weekend. Of course Monday night I went to bed at 10pm completely tired :)

Epoca de Quesos I
Hello and get ready to get your cholesterol high from just looking at these pictures :) On Saturday after a morning at the pool we went for late lunch to "Epoca de Quesos". The place is the oldest house in Tandil (you can see the dates on next picture) and they have everything you need for a great picada. Needless to say that we ate like pigs (funny, we were eating pig too).
Al sábado al mediodía fuimos a comer a "Epoca de Quesos". Es la casa más antigua de Tandil y el mejor lugar para alguien que gusta de las picadas. Cuando entras al lugar el olor nomás ya te da ganas de comer (no importa la hora). Nos pedimos dos picadas y dps los chicos pidieron un plato caliente que era un sandwich the jamon cocido (feta de un centimetro y medio) con muzzarella y un huevo frito encima. Ideal para el colesterol :P
Inside everything is really nice and old style. Country side style too. You can go and eat inside the house or outside in the patio. It was a nice day so we went outside.
Adentro esta todo decorado con estilo antiguo y es asi como una casa de campo (más o menos). Convengamos que esta muy preparado para el turista que de campo ha visto poco y nada :)

Tandil I
Hola!!!!!
Bueno, finalmente poniendome al dia con el blog. Escribiendo desde el trabajo, asi que no hay acentos. El finde pasado hubo mini-vacaciones a Tandil. Nos encontramos con amigos de Bahia Blanca y de La Plata.
Nuestro viaje fue entretenido. Salimos de Buenos Aires a las 1630 e ibamos re bien hasta que a unos 150km de Tandil se prendio la luz de aceite... Para hacerla corta, terminamos en un cafe divino en Las Armas justo en el cruce de la Ruta 2 y la 74 esperando la Grua y a Pablo que nos vino a buscar. Un grande el Pu. terminamos llegando a medianoche :). la vuelta fue mas tranqui pero nos toco el trafico viniendo de Mardel. La gente aca maneja como locos!!!!!
Ok.. Finally catching-up... Last weekend we meet up with friends in Tandil. A small city 400km away from Buenos Aires. From Buenos Aires we left around 430pm and everything was running smoothly until the oil light turn on. Long story short we ended up at a really nice gas station having acoffee and eating some while we were waiting for the lift. A friend has to come from Tandil to pick some of us up. Pablo is great :) he drove 130km both ways to pick us up!!!! Anyways we manage to be in Tandil at midnight.
So a few pictures :) First the view from the pool at the place we stayed. Yep, those are my gorgeous feet :P

Overall I had a really nice time, I was not able to completely relax because some work realated stuff, but none the less it was good to be with friends and get away from the city.

Casamiento Juan (ultima entrega)
It was a great party. starting 630pm until 630am. Yep, we know how to celebrate here. Also it was great to meet up with friends. Juan was so happy and the couple looked so like a real couple.

Casamiento Juancito I
Two weekends go was Juan and Marina's wedding. It was a really nice ceremony and party afterwards. It took place right outside Buenos Aires, in Pilar. The ceremony was outdoor and the party inside a huge tent. So here a few pictures.
I finally wore the dress I bought one year ago for Esteban's wedding, actually going to this wedding was kinda a big deal for me since I was not able to go to the last three I was invited to for various reasons. Anyways, on the first picture I'm all dressed up and with my hair done :) Does not happen that often!!!
Hace dos fines de semana fue el casamiento de Juan y Marina. Juan es un compañero de la Universidad y fue una alegria verlo (no se cuantos años desde la ultima vez, ya que él esta en Australia). El casamiento fue en Pilar, en la quinta de los padres de Marina y la verdad es que estaba todo muy lindo. El civil fue afuera y dps la fiesta en una carpa gigante. muy divertido la verdad.
Finalmente pude usar el vestido que compre hace un ano para el casamiento de Esteban. Me venia perdiendo varios casamientos por diferentes motivos, asi que estuvo bueno salir y estar despierta hasta las 6 de la mañana :P la primer foto es en casa antes de salir, es la única foto que tengo donde se ve el vestido completo y el peinado.
My boys: Pato, Quique, Juan, Cholo, Guille y Juampi we are all classmates from the University in Bahia Blanca. we do not see each other that often so this was a great oportunity to catch up!!!

Botánico y Blanca :)
AAAHHHHH Headache :( Since 4pm, so almost eight hours now... YAY... Ok, so the post says Nov. 3rd but today is actually Nov. 7th. I just don't know how to get the right date after I uploaded the pictures on the draft version. Usually what I do is to get the pics up and I later add the text, most of the times I am too lazy to do more than one or two posts :) Oh well.. Friday night I just watched Kung Fu Panda, having my tea and then to sleep. I'm dead tired and I still need to clean my apartment this weekend :(
Me duele la cabeza!!!!! Desde las 4 de la tarde más o menos.. Porqueria. Hoy es 7 de Noviembre, no se como hacer que la fecha sea la de publicación y no la del borrador. Pasa que me resulta más fácil subir las fotos de un saque y despues ir agregando al texto. Es más trabajoso escribir (en dos idiomas), asi que por eso nunca hago más de uno o dos posts por día. Acabo de ver Kung Fu Panda... divertida.
Ok, a las fotos. El finde pasado me encontre con Blanca, una amiga española de mi hermano. La verdad es que es una mina macanuda. Hablamos sin parar por horas y fue muy bueno conocerla. Aprovechamos para recorrer el Botanico. la verdad es que no me canso del Botánico... habia un coro y además el invernadero estaba abierto (primera foto).
Ok, to the pictures. Last weekend I met with Blanca. She's from Spain and my bro's friend. A really awesome woman, easy to talk to. we went for lunch together and then to the Botanico. I just love that place. There was a chorus performing and the green house was open too!!! Next pic is the Green house.

Hello :)
It's hot outside so I decided to stay at work for an extra hour (I have been arriving late too) so I can avoid the crowded buses. The city is so hot that it does not matter if it's 7pm or 6pm. I was taking measurements until a few minues ago so I kinda needed the break. Anyways, Halloween pictures!!!! There was a big party at a bar organized by CS, but before that there was a smaller gathering. I ended up going only to that one, I was way to tired (it was last Friday) to go out until early morning... So I was sound asleep at 1am. yay!!! Party girl!!! (sarcasm). So here a few pictures from the party. Have you guessed who was I?
Afuera estan haciendo unos 35 grados :( Asi que me quedo una hora mas en el trabajo aprovechando el aire aconmdicionado y evitando los colectivos llenos. Recien termine de medir unas cosas asi que ahora me tomo un descansito. Aca van las fotos de Halloween, CS organizaba una fiesta en San telmo, pero antes habia una previa en la casa de un chico de USA. Termine yendo solo a la previa y es que estaba dibujada (viernes a la noche). Cuestion que a la 1am estaba durmiendo :P Adivinaron ya de quien estaba disfrazada???
Si si!!!! SCULLY :) yep.. I'm a dork.
Next picture: Fede y Anette... Anette went as Jessica from Heroes (or is it Nikki?? The evil one) Wow I can not believe I can not remeber Heroes characters, I guess I never got over the first episodes of Season 2... such a pain in the... Maya!!!!! Alejandro!!!! nonsense.
Finally Pauli.. I just loved her sign :) and the last pic are the guys crossing the street to get a cab and go to the rparty while I was getting one back home.

Yay!!! More babies!!!! baby invasion!!!! :P Here's Melina, daughter of Pedro, one of my long time friends. I met Pedro when I was in 5th grade, so more than 20 years. That's a long time. he lives now in la Plata so we went there a few weekends back with Lisandro and Adri to meet the baby. She's so cute!!!! 10 days old in the pics and so well behaved. Both Pedro and Mari are just in love, it was so funny to watch at their faces.
Más bebés!!!! Acá la hija de Pedro y Mari, Melina :) La verdad es que la nena es re linda y al emnos en sus primeros 10 dias parece que se viene portando relativamente bien, o al menos asi lo hizo mientras los visitamos con Lisandro y Adri. pasamos una tarde muy linda, recordando viejos tiempos, charalndo de todo un poco y mirando embobados a Melina :)

Peinados viejos
Hi :)
I just wanted to post a picture showing how "long" my hair was :) I'll post about my new and awesome haircut soon. These pics were taken the same day the ones of the previous post. It was a gorgeous day and I walked like crazy.. I'm trying to get new ways to take pics when walking alone.. like the shadow one :) I kinda like it. I'm sure people think I'm crazy when they look at me shooting pics to my shadow or my face while walking, etc etc.. Sure it seems I have a big ego. How far from reality.
Work is good so far, I just hate to keep finding problems on my chip.. it's like you fix something and then you realize you had another problem you missed before. I just realize I have so much more to learn. Dunno, I really like what I do though, no matter that I have spent the last days sitting in the Faraday cage and microprobing :) It's all part of the learning experience and for the first time in ages I kinda feel that I'm making progress.
There has been other stuff going on.. no, I'm still single, thank you very much... but i'll post about that later this week.

Solo unas fotos de la ultima GRAN caminata, la misma del post anterior. Queria mostrar también que tan largo tenia el pelo antes de cortarmelo hace unos días :) Me quedo muy bueno, bah, a mi me gusta aunque en el trabajo las opiniones estan divididas. Tambien puse la foto de mi sombra, sigo viendo como sacarme fotos cuando camino sola. A esta altura creo que cualquiera que me ve piensa que estoy loca o tengo un ego gigante y es que para sacar una foto buena a veces tengo que sacar como cinco.
En el laburo todo viene bien, testeando mi chip que hasta ahora parece al menos mejor que la versión anterior. Igual uno siempre encuentra detalles y la verdad es que me doy cuenta que aún me falta mucho por aprender. Igual me gusta lo que hago, aunque tenga que pasarme dias encerrada en la jaula (de faraday) tomando mediciones con el microscopio. Igual por primera vez siento que de a poco estoy aprendiendo, que la curva de a poco es positiva.
Espero en la semana publicar más :) Besos!
