La Plata

Hola!!!!!

Aqui unas fotos del finde pasado... El viernes nos juntamos en lo de Mayra. En la foto Mayra, Pupi y Susi. La idea era salir despues de cenar pero al final nos colgamos charlamos y no salimos nada :)

Last weekend we got together at Mayra's place... We were supposed to go out after dinner but we ended just sataying in and talking until 4 am. In the pic Mayra, Pupi and Susi.

That same weekend I went to La Plata (where Pupi and Romi live) for the day... La plata is about 1 1/2 hour from Buenos Aires (bus ride). Pupi was waiting with a nice asado and after a late luch we just watch a movie (fantastic 4 and the Silver Surfer... it's SO SO SO bad that i have no words to start describing it) Anyways, in the picture: Me, Romi and Susi.. And TOTO, Romi and Pupi's dog.

Ese mismo domingo me fui de escapada a La Plata, Pupi hizo asadito (rico!!!) y dps nos quedamos viendo una peli, Los 4 fantasticos y el Siver Surfer. Que mala que es!!!!!!! hacia rato no veia una peli TAN mala. En la foto estamos yo, la Romi y Susi.. Y no nos olvidemos de TOTO!!! el "perrito"de los chicos...

Este finde viene más tranqui, mas que nada porque tengo que hacer un review para el lunes en el trabajo... tengo como 4 o 5 papers que revisar para congresos, etc y quiero descansar un poco.

This weekend I need to catch up with work and some papers I need to review... Fun times!!! That and sleep to :)

This is Julia, my "niece".. She was born july 18th, so her zodiacal sign is Cancer as me :) She is going to be a nice, charming and modest girl as myself!!! hehehe. isn't she the cutest little thing???

We had a really good time as usual... this weekend is also packed with activities :D Last friday I also went to the theater with my mom to see Les Luthiers... Is a comic/musical group, really good... I have been listening to them since I remember (both my parents are big fans) and this was the first time I saw them live!!!! AWESOME.

El viernes tambien fui al teatro con mi mamá, fuimos a ver Les Luthiers. El espectaculo es excelente y finalmente me di el gusto de verlos en vivo dps de escucharlos desde que tengo uso de razon (o desde que me acuerdo... aun esta por verse si tengo uso de razon) este finde viene movidito tambien, asi que espero poner más fotos.

oki, this is all for now... Work is good, life is good... still trying to find time to do more stuff. Need to go to the gym and also start studying.. Oh well... I feel that I'm still settling down for some reason.

Debia estas fotos hace un tiempito... El 12 de Julio fue el cumple de Mayra y lo festejamos en forma :) Hasta fuimos a bailar!!!!! Aca unas fotos de la previa en la casa de Mayra, que una vez más demostro que es la anfitriona que yo jamás podré ser.

I was meaning to post these pics the past weeks... July 12th was mayra's B'day and we celebrated it going out dancing :) The opictures were taken at her place... we had a grea time and once again she was the perfect hostess... Like I will never be.

Wine, old friends and snow in Buenos Aires.

Hello All!!!!
It has been a while since last time I posted... Mainly because life has been quiet for some time, I should point out that quiet does not mean boring. I have a great time at work everyday and then I get back home and I just sit to watch anime :D (Honey and Clover is a MUST!!!!)
My birthday went by as I like them... without a big party... The day of my birthday Argentina was playing the Copa America, so i just went to Tato's place to watch the game there (have I mentioned that I have no TV?).
Anyways, July 9th is our Independence day, so we have along weekend and also Gonzalo, a friend since forever was visiting from Ushuaia. Last time I saw him was like 8 years ago... So there was a lot of catching up going on!!!! So going to the pictures, we got together at Tato's place (one more time... poor guy) and we just ate empanadas with some good red wine... HEAVEN. The first pic is me and Sepe. We were finishing the second bottle at the time.

Se que hace rato que no escribo, mas que nada porque no pasa demasiado loco. En el trabajo todo bien (me divierto mucho con los pibes) y dps en casa me engancho viendo Anime jejeje. Y si, sigo siendo "rara" como me dicen en el trabajo.
Mi cumple paso bien, tranqui... ese día jugaba Argentina, asi que me fui a lo de Tato a ver el partido ya que aun no me decido a comprar el televisor. El finde largo del 9 de Julio coincidio con la visita de Gonzalo, un amigo de hace MUCHOS años y que hacia como 8 años que no veia, la verdad es que fue muy lindo encontrarnos y ponernos al dia. La foto Anterior estoy con el Sepe, nos juntamos el sabado en lo de Tato a comer empanadas y tomar unos tintos y ponernos al dia. hacia pila que no nos juntabamos!
La foto que sigue estoy con Gonza :) Quiero creer que no estamos tan hechos bolsas como a veces parece que esta el resto del mundo :D

This past week has been awfully cold in Argentina, so cold that there was even some snow in Buenos Aires!!!! last time there was snow was 1918 and apparebtly there is no other ocurrence on record... As I always say every time some bizarre weather related thing happens... GLOBAL WARMING!! and othe rthings I do not want to put on a blog because who knows who monitors these stuff ;) You can almost see some flurs (is that the word?? I'm losing my english!! And I'm lazy to go and check on my dictionary...)
